After a full career as a chemist, Suzanne Szabolcs went into early retirement to bake cakes and create chocolates - two things she'd never done before.

"The art of cake and chocolate making is a science," explains Suzanne. "As a chemist, I know how to follow a recipe; I know the importance of measuring and keeping records; I understand the properties of heating, cooling, water content and other vital variables required for successful baking."

Understanding chemistry translates directly into Suzanne's ability to create the most delectable cakes and chocolates with delightful textures for the tongue and luxurious elegance for the eye.

As a boutique chocolatier located in Bolton, SCS Edibles remains committed to serving local and loyal clients who have a taste for quality confections. "I do not wish to become a large operation that loses touch with my clients and with my cakes and chocolates. What makes my confections so special is my ability to hand make them and to be the person who oversees quality control. These are my babies. You can taste the love I pour into them. That's what my clients ask for, and that's what they get when they come to me."
